MFA building damaged by hostilities for the first time since WWII

The building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine was damaged as a result of a russian night attack. This was reported by the head of the ministry Andrii Sybiha on Facebook.

"This unique architectural heritage, built by Joseph Langbard in 1939, was damaged by hostilities for the first time since World War II. Looking at the broken windows this morning, I can confidently declare on behalf of our entire diplomatic team: russian terrorists will not make us stop," he wrote.

According to Sybiha, Ukrainian diplomacy will continue to fulfill its tasks, resist russian aggression and bring peace closer.

"It is also important to note that the russian strikes were directed at a historical area, the very center of ancient Rus. Another proof that we are dealing with hordes of barbarians, not with the heirs of civilization," the minister added.

We will remind, the russian strike in Podil almost destroyed the Chornobyl Museum and damaged historical monuments.
