During night attack on Kyiv, main office of Ukrposhta on Maidan Nezalezhnosti damaged

As a result of the massive night shelling of the capital on the night of May 24, the Main Post Office building in the very center of the city was destroyed. The company's director general Ihor Smilianskyi reported this on his Telegram channel.

Despite the damage to the central office of Ukrposhta on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, the company's head assured that the building will be restored quickly, as will the rest of the branches that are under enemy attacks.

"As a result of the night flights, the main office of Ukrposhta on Maidan was damaged. Well, we have long planned to repair it a little - so there will be an opportunity to quickly restore it, like all our other branches after such nights," Ihor Smilianskyi said.

Relevant services are already working at the scene, assessing the extent of damage to civil infrastructure. Currently, there is no information about the injured among the company's employees, and details about the format of the Main Post Office's work in the coming days are promised to be announced later.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of May 24, russian troops launched a massive attack with ballistic missiles on the Ukrainian capital.

As a result of the massive strike on Kyiv, one person was killed, more than 20 were injured, and significant damage was caused in 8 districts.
