Mindich's accountant also sues Zelenskyy

Businessman Oleksandr Tsukerman, who is implicated in a case involving corruption schemes at Energoatom, has filed a lawsuit against President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He is demanding that the sanctions imposed against him be lifted.

MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak announced this on Thursday, May 21.

Zhelezniak published data from the official web portal of Ukraine’s judicial system, according to which Tsukerman filed a lawsuit with the Administrative Court of Cassation within the Supreme Court.

The case is registered under number 990/184/26 dated May 15.

The lawsuit was filed with a request to declare Zelenskyy’s decree imposing sanctions against Tsukerman unlawful and to overturn it.

President Zelenskyy is listed as the defendant in this case. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine are listed as third parties.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on November 13, 2025, Zelenskyy signed a decree imposing sanctions against Mindich. At the same time, sanctions were imposed against Oleksandr Tsukerman. Mindich and Tsukerman are figures in a case involving a large-scale corruption scheme at Energoatom.

On May 20, businessman and co-owner of the “Kvartal-95” studio Timur Mindich filed a lawsuit against President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He is demanding that the sanctions previously imposed against him be lifted.
