263 combat clashes take place on front during day, hottest on Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes
On May 15, 263 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (35 clashes) and Huliaipole (33) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 missile and 89 air strikes, in particular, dropped 270 guided bombs, and also used 9,153 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,027 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian troops, in particular 55 - from multiple launch rocket systems.
On May 15, 263 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, the aggressor carried out three air strikes using eight anti-aircraft missiles and carried out 57 attacks; one enemy assault action was recorded.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 10 times in the direction of Izbytske, Ternova, Novovasylivka and in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Synelnykove and Vovchanski Khutory.
On the Kupiansk axis, the russians attacked twice in the direction of Kindrashivka and Radkivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy tried to penetrate the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 13 times, attacking on the areas of the settlements of Stavky, Zarichne, Yampil, Novyi Mir, Ozerne and in the direction of Novoserhiivka, Druzheliubivka, Lyman, Dibrova.
On the Sloviansk axis, the invaders stormed four times in the direction of Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the area of Zakitne.
No attacks by the invaders were recorded on the Kramatorsk axis.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 23 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Stepanivka, Toretske, Ivanopillia and towards Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka, Bilytske, Mykolaipillia.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 35 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Zatyshok, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Filiia, Hannivka and Molodetske.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked once towards Dobropillia.
On the Huliaipole axis, the russians carried out 33 attacks on the areas of Pryluky, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Rybne and towards Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Pryvillia, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, Krynychne.
No assault actions of the invaders were recorded on the Orikhiv axis.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy carried out three attacks - towards Antonivka and the Bilohrudyi island.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 13 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, two UAV control points, one warehouse and another important russian facility.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 15 amounted to 1,230 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on May 14, 257 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them on the Pokrovsk (39 clashes) and Kostiantynivka (28) axes.
