Belarus did not provide its airspace for an attack on Ukraine - Serhii Flash
Belarus did not provide the aggressor country of russia with its airspace for an attack on Ukraine, so the Shaheds are bypassing the Belarusian border. Advisor to the Minister of Defense Serhii Beskrestnov (Flash) reported this in his Telegram channel on Wednesday, May 13.
Beskrestnov noted that during today's russian attack it would be much easier to fly a small section over Belarus, but enemy shaheeds are bypassing it. According to him, for the russian federation, such a route carries unnecessary risks of being shot down, increased flight time, and difficulties in programming the route.
"This indicates that the Republic of Belarus is in no hurry to provide the russian federation with its airspace, even for a few kilometers," Beskrestnov wrote.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 13, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an attack by the aggressor country russia on Ukraine, which could continue in waves.
On May 13, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported that debris from an enemy drone had fallen in the Obolonskyi district.
