Russia attacks five districts of Dnipropetrovsk Region more than 20 times, one killed and one wounded
On Monday, russian occupiers launched a massive attack on the Dnipropetrovsk Region, using artillery, attack drones, and aerial bombs. Oleksandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, has reported this.
The enemy struck civilian infrastructure in five districts more than 20 times, resulting in civilian casualties. The most severe situation was recorded in the Synelnykove District, where the communities of Dubovyky, Mykolaivka, and Rozdory were targeted. There, enemy shelling claimed the life of a man, and another woman was wounded. Explosions damaged private homes, a farm building, and vehicles.
In Pavlohrad, a nine-story building and vehicles were damaged by the occupiers’ attack. Two men were injured: a 36-year-old victim was hospitalized in moderate condition, while the other is receiving outpatient treatment. A 33-year-old resident of Dnipro, who was injured in the strikes on the regional center, also required hospitalization.
"The city of Samar and the Pishchanka community were also targeted by the enemy, resulting in a fire and damaged infrastructure," noted the head of the Regional Military Administration.
In addition, Nikopol, as well as the Marianivska and Pokrovsk communities, remained under constant enemy fire. Specialized services continue to work at the sites of the strikes, documenting the consequences of yet another act of russian terror against the region’s civilian population.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of May 12, russian invaders carried out another drone attack on the Kyiv Region, targeting civilian infrastructure and residential neighborhoods.
Zelenskyy stated yesterday that russia, the aggressor nation, does not want to end the war against Ukraine and is preparing for new attacks.
