Another air defense "ring" is being built around Moscow - media
Another "ring" of air defense positions has begun to be built around Moscow, in particular from the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems on towers.
This is reported by the russian editorial office of Radio Liberty.
Radio Liberty found this out with the help of OSINT enthusiasts, studying satellite images of the Moscow Oblast and neighboring regions.
Journalists came across the first tower of the new "ring" back on February 16, when they managed to geolocate a photo of a trace from an air defense missile near the city of Kashira in the Moscow Oblast.
Currently, the number of air defense systems that have surrounded Moscow since 2023 has exceeded 100 units.

At the same time, shortly before May 9, the residence of russian dictator vladimir putin in Valdai was blurred on Yandex.Maps. Previously, the Yandex search engine only showed military facilities and military-industrial complex enterprises on a satellite map.
As is known, over the past few years, putin's Valdai residence, where Alina Kabaeva spends a lot of time with his sons, has been surrounded by more than 25 air defense systems.
