Over past day, Defense Forces reduced number of russian army by another 1,080 occupiers - AFU General Staff summary

Over the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have reduced the number of the russian occupation army by 1,080 invaders. Russia's total combat losses in manpower amount to 1 million 340 thousand 270 people.

Hundreds of units of enemy equipment and weapons have also been eliminated.

Updated data on the losses of the russian federation have been published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the morning summary of May 9, the General Staff reported that the day before, Ukrainian soldiers had destroyed one tank (11,920), three armored combat vehicles (24,541), 82 artillery systems (41,712), two MLRSes (1,780), one air defense system (1,371), 1,479 operational-tactical UAVs (281,208) and seven ground robotic complexes (1,351).

373 units of automotive equipment and tanker trucks (95,252) were also destroyed.

Over the past day, russia lost 1,948 units of weapons and equipment, including drones.

In total, during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, russia also lost 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters, 33 ships/boats, two submarines, 4,173 pieces of special equipment, and 4,585 cruise missiles.
