Demand for new trucks increases by 14% to 1,122 units in April - UkrAutoprom

In April 2026, the demand for new trucks rose by 14% to 1,122 units compared to the same period in 2025.

This is stated in a report by the UkrAutoprom association, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

The report states that compared to March 2026, demand for new commercial vehicles (trucks and special-purpose vehicles) rose by 3%.

In total, 4,033 new vehicles have been added to Ukraine’s fleet of trucks and special-purpose vehicles since the start of the year, which is nearly 6% more than during the same period last year.

The top 5 brands in the new commercial vehicle market in April were: Renault – 235 units; Fiat – 118 units; Mercedes-Benz – 98 units; Citroën – 81 units; and Opel – 80 units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in March 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, demand for new trucks rose by 6% to 1,085 units.
