The army of the aggressor country, russia, launched a missile strike on Dnipro on Sunday afternoon, May 3. The Ukrainian military released footage showing the destruction of one of the russian missiles.

The video was published by the "East" Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Forces.

The footage likely shows the use of a portable anti-aircraft missile system. The video captures the missile launch. Afterward, the military showed plumes of smoke rising from the spot where the missile struck the occupiers’ munitions.

The "East" Air Command reported that russian troops attacked Dnipro around 3:00 p.m. They fired five Kh-59/69 cruise missiles toward the city.

Four missiles were shot down, while another failed to reach its target due to active countermeasures, likely involving electronic warfare (EW) systems. One of the downed missiles struck a civilian building.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, one civilian was killed in Dnipro as a result of the russian missile attack. At least eleven more people were injured. A dormitory building was damaged.
