Ukrainian forces hit two tankers near Novorossiysk - Zelenskyy shows video

Two vessels belonging to russia's "shadow" oil fleet were struck in the waters leading to the port of Novorossiysk. The operation was carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in conjunction with the Security Service of Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared a video of the incident.

The President reported that the Ukrainian military is continuing its operations against the russian "shadow" oil fleet. He noted that as a result of the operation, two tankers used to transport oil were struck.

"These tankers were actively used to transport oil. Now they won’t be," he added.

According to him, the operation was coordinated by Andriy Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Counterintelligence units of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy were involved in carrying out the mission.

As a reminder, on May 1, the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the "Shagol" military airfield in the Chelyabinsk Oblast of the aggressor country russia, resulting in the destruction of four of the occupiers’ combat aircraft.
