New indicator will appear in statistical reporting of Defense Forces: General Staff will add another column on combat losses of russia
The General Staff will release statistics on the destruction of russian ground-based robotic systems. As of early May, the Defense Forces had neutralized nearly 1,300 enemy robotic systems.
Major Dmytro Lykhovii, an officer of the Main Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has stated this in a comment to the media.
"War is changing; it is becoming increasingly technological. Not just new models, but new types of weapons and military equipment are appearing on the battlefield. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are also destroying these enemy assets, and they are doing so on an increasingly large scale.
One example is GRSs, ground robotic systems," Lyhovii noted.
Consequently, starting May 3, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has added a new category — “ground robotic systems” — to its daily report on enemy casualty statistics.
Lykhovii explained that statistics on the destruction of GRSs were kept previously, but are now being made public.
As of May 2 (since the russians began using these systems — Ed.), Ukrainian troops have struck or destroyed 1,294 units of these systems.
