Drones attack Tuapse for 4th time - oil terminals burning again
On the night of May 1, a fire broke out on the territory of a marine terminal in the city of Tuapse, Krasnodar Krai of the russian federation, after a threat of a drone attack was announced.
This was reported by officials of the aggressor country, and monitoring channels showed a video shot by local residents.
The russians claim that there are no victims, and emergency services are working on the scene to eliminate the fire.
Before this, Tuapse reported a risk of a drone attack.
This is the fourth case of strikes on Tuapse in recent times. Previous attacks were recorded, in particular, on April 16.
Then, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strike fell on an oil refinery in the city, where a tank farm was hit, causing a subsequent fire.
The next strike occurred on April 20 and caused a new large-scale fire, which could not be extinguished until April 24. Almost 300 people and 77 pieces of equipment were involved in the work. Despite this, the russians began to complain about the oil leak, which burned right in the streets and fell on the city in the form of rain. The area of the oil slick that formed off the coast of Tuapse reached 10,000 square meters.
The third attack occurred on the night of April 28 and again caused a large fire.
