Two people killed in russian strike on Chuhuiv in Kharkiv Region

Russian terrorist forces shelled the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv Region early this morning, killing two people. Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on his Facebook page on Tuesday, April 28.

Oleh Syniehubov noted that one person was also wounded in the russian shelling in Chuhuiv and required hospitalization.

"Unfortunately, two people were killed this morning due to enemy shelling of Chuhuiv. One person was injured and is receiving necessary medical care at the hospital," the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported.

All necessary services will continue to address the aftermath of the shelling.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office added that on April 28, around 9:10 a.m., russian occupiers struck Chuhuiv with a drone, preliminarily identified as a “V2U” type, which hit the ground near a residential area. Private homes and cars were damaged.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 14, russian terrorist forces launched six guided aerial bombs (GABs) at the Pechenizka Dam in the Chuhuiv District of the Kharkiv Region, a critical infrastructure site.
