Russians shell Konotop with drones: five employees wounded
Today, April 28, russian forces launched a drone attack on the city of Konotop in the Sumy Region. Homes, a hospital, administrative buildings, and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged. Five employees of a local business were injured.
It was reported by the State Emergency Service in the Sumy Region and the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleh Hryhorov.
According to rescue workers, strikes were recorded at three locations in Konotop. Private residential buildings, hospital facilities, administrative buildings, a civilian infrastructure facility, and vehicles were damaged. Fires broke out, but all fire pockets have been extinguished.
It is noted that due to the threat from the sky, State Emergency Service specialists temporarily suspended operations.
It is also reported that five people were injured as a result of the shelling.
The head of the Regional State Administration reported that the five civilians injured in the attack on the Konotop community are employees of a local enterprise.
"Four of the victims are in moderate condition. Medical personnel are providing them with all necessary assistance. Another victim is already receiving outpatient treatment," added Hryhorov.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, russian terrorist forces also launched drones at Kyiv, and air defense forces were active in the capital.
In addition, russian terrorist forces shelled the city of Chuhuiv in the Kharkiv Region this morning, killing two people.
