Ukraine reduces poultry exports by 2% to 436,000 tons in 2025
In 2025, Ukraine reduced its poultry meat exports by 2.5% to 436,000 tons compared to 2024 (446,600 tons in 2023), but increased the five-year average by 1%.
This is stated in a report by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club, as reported by the Ukrainian News agency.
The report states that the market has stabilized, and the main export destinations remain countries with steady demand: the EU (30.6%), the Middle East (27.2%), and other European countries outside the EU (22.6%).
Poultry meat imports in 2025 decreased by 3% compared to 2024, to 46,000 tons, and were 73% below the 5-year average.
It is noted that in 2025, total poultry meat production decreased by 1.5% compared to 2024, to 1,390,000 tons, but increased by 2.7% compared to the 5-year average.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January–August 2025, total poultry meat exports decreased by 2.5% to 293,600 tons compared to the same period in 2024.
In 2024, according to customs statistics, Ukraine increased poultry meat exports by 6.3% to 446,600 tons compared to 2023 (419,900 tons in 2023).
