151 combat clashes registered on russian-Ukrainian front over past day - AFU General Staff's operational update
The defense forces are repelling the occupants' attempts to improve their position and advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.
A total of 151 combat clashes were registered over the last day.
This is stated in the text of the operational update by the command of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile attack, used one rocket, carried out 63 air strikes, and dropped 217 guided bombs. In addition, they used 9,305 kamikaze drones and fired 3,447 times at the settlements and positions of our troops, including 106 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Ivanivka, Kolomyitsi in the Dnipropetrovsk Region; Kopani, Rivne, Barvinivka, Liubytske, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Shevchenkivske, Lisne, Charivne, Myrne, Zarichne in the Zaporizka Region.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two cannons, one UAV control center and seven areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes yesterday, the enemy launched two air strikes, dropped five guided aerial bombs, fired 82 times at the positions of our troops and settlements, four of which were with multiple launch rocket systems. Three enemy assault actions were registered.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders three times in the area of Vovchanski Khutory and towards Neskuchne and Bochkove.
On the Kupiansk axis, the aggressor attacked twice in the direction of Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy twice tried to penetrate our defense, attacking in the vicinity of Hrekivka and in the direction of Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian troops stopped three occupants' attempts to advance in the vicinity of Yampil and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka yesterday.
No enemy offensives were registered on the Kramatorsk axis.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, the enemy carried out 22 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Sofiivka and Novopavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian troops stopped 33 aggressor's attacks in the areas of Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Myrnohrad, Molodetske, Shevchenko, Muravka, Udachne, Novopavlivka.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the enemy attacked 10 times in the direction of Kalynivka, Verbove, Zlahoda, Vorone and Oleksandrohrad.
On the Huliaipole axis, 12 occupants' attacks took place in the direction of Huliaipilske, Zelene, Dobropillia, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka and in the area of Huliaipole.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attacked twice in the vicinity of Shcherbaky and Stepnohirsk.
On the Dnieper axis, the enemy conducted four futile assault operations in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to put up effective resistance in all sectors of the frontline.
According to the Ukrainian News agency, the total number of russian invaders' casualties amounted to 1,080 people over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralized six tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 82 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, 2,104 operational and tactical UAVs and 180 vehicles.
