Partisans of ATESH movement disrupt military logistics of occupiers by conducting sabotage operation in Luhansk
A substation supplying a railway hub for military supplies was knocked out of action in Luhansk as a result of sabotage.
The Telegram channel of the ATESH guerrilla movement has reported this.
According to ATESH, their agent entered the facility and disabled an electric transformer. This resulted in a fire that engulfed the substation's equipment.
"The fire engulfed the transformer equipment, and the restoration will take several weeks," the underground noted.
ATESH claims that the substation provided power to the railway junction through which military supplies were delivered.
"The substation powered the railway junction, through which trains with equipment and ammunition passed around the clock," the statement said.
According to the guerrillas, the sabotage caused delays in the supply of russian units, in particular on the Lyman and Kostiantynivka axes.
"Now the occupiers are forced to rebuild their logistics and look for workarounds. Strike by strike, we will destroy Putin's system from within," the movement summarized.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in early March, the ATESH movement guerrillas claimed sabotage on the railway in occupied Luhansk, which was one of the key routes for supplying russian troops to the front line.
