In March, the best-selling diesel among new cars was Renault Duster - Ukravtoprom

In March 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, the demand for cars with diesel engines decreased by 8% to 5,100 units.

This is stated in the message of the Ukravtoprom association, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Of these: 1,300 units of new (+21%) and 3,800 units of used imported from abroad (-14%).

The TOP-5 models of new diesel cars were: Renault Duster - 259 units; Volkswagen Touareg - 180 units; Toyota LC Prado - 151 units; Skoda Kodiaq - 91 units and Volkswagen Tiguan - 75 units.

TOP-5 imported used diesel cars: Renault Megane - 286 units; Nissan Qashqai - 258 units; Skoda Octavia - 238 units; Hyundai Santa Fe - 209 units and KIA Sorento - 178 units.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, demand for cars with diesel engines decreased by 12% to 4,300 units.
