Vodafone Ukraine's net profit increases by 18% to UAH 4.2 billion in 2025

In 2025, mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine (PJSC VF Ukraine, Kyiv) increased its net profit by 18% to UAH 4.2 billion compared to the same period in 2025.

This is stated in the company's statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that according to the results of 2025, Vodafone increased its revenue by 14% to UAH 27.8 billion.

The main growth factors were: a focus on the development of fixed-line business, an increase in the use of data services and, accordingly, revenues from services - both mobile and fixed-line communications.

OIBDA in 2025 increased by 15% to UAH 14 billion, despite a significant increase in the cost of providing power to the network.

The OIBDA margin remains stable with a tendency to increase - by +0.3 pp compared to the 2025 figure - and is 50.4%.

The number of customers over the past 4 years has remained stable at 15.4 billion users.

The percentage of the company's contract customers continues to grow - thanks to attractive contract tariffs, the number of contract connections has increased by 34%.

Stable revenue growth allowed Vodafone to increase investments in the development and support of critical infrastructure in Ukraine by 41%.

The company invested UAH 8.7 billion in the network - twice as much as the amount of profit in 2025.

50% of Vodafone's investments were directed to the development, restoration of the network and ensuring the stability of communication during the energy crisis.

The total amount of Vodafone's investments in 2022-2025 exceeded UAH 24 billion.

At the expense of the invested funds, Vodafone has installed an additional 20,000 new batteries and increased the number of available generators to more than 7,000 to provide backup power during hours-long power outages; the company has started installing solar power plants at facilities across the country.

Vodafone also significantly expanded its 4G coverage, launching 7,500 new 4G base stations in 2025.

About UAH 1 billion was invested by Vodafone to build the most modern home Internet network in Ukraine, which can operate for more than 100 hours without power.

These investments and actions helped us to get through the most difficult winter on record and maintain the stability of communication.

Vodafone continues to develop AI and GenAI solutions to increase internal efficiency and improve customer experience.

2025 was the year of dominance of Vodafone's gigabit network.

The number of users of energy-efficient GPON technology has increased 1.5 times compared to last year.

Gigabit Net coverage reached 2 million households, of which more than 600,000 were connected in 2025.

The company continues to prepare the infrastructure for the introduction of 5G.

In 2025, we implemented pilot projects of 5G networks, in particular in educational institutions and urban locations.

Networks for the first open 5G zones with speeds over 1 Gbps have been built in Lviv, Kharkiv, and Borodianka.

In parallel, a large-scale network modernization program was launched in cooperation with European partner Nokia.

One of the most important events of the year was the announcement of the construction of a new Kardesa submarine cable system in the Black Sea.

This project, implemented in partnership with Vodafone Group, will create a modern digital corridor between Europe and Asia with exit points in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia and Turkey, which will significantly increase the reliability of the global Internet.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the first half of 2025, the mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine (PrJSC VF Ukraine, Kyiv) reduced net profit by 13% to UAH 1.7 billion compared to the same period in 2024.

In March 2020, Vodafone (UK) signed a partnership agreement with mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine to continue using the Vodafone brand in the work of the Ukrainian company for the next 5 years

On December 3, 2019, Bakcell (Azerbaijan) completed the acquisition of Vodafone Ukraine (formerly MTS-Ukraine), a mobile operator, from MTS Telecommunications Company for USD 734 million.

Bakcell is part of the NEQSOL Holding group of companies, founded by Azerbaijani Nasib Hasanov.
