On the morning of April 4, russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, using kamikaze drones, cruise missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft, and Kinzhal airborne ballistic missiles. The Kyiv Region came under intense fire, with hits to residential areas and near educational institutions. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration has reported this on Telegram.

The most difficult situation was recorded in Obukhiv and Vyshneve. In Obukhiv, an enemy missile hit a multi-storey residential building; footage of the building's destruction has already been posted online.

Air defense forces were actively working on the capital and surrounding areas, repelling several waves of missile launches. Authorities spokesman Mykola Kalashnyk urged residents not to ignore the alarms and stay in shelters, as the threat of new launches remains.

The authorities continue to collect data on damage to infrastructure and the residential sector. Residents are asked not to publish photos of air defense work and the exact coordinates of hits until the information is officially released.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Air Forces reported that on the morning of April 3, russia launched a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine, sending strategic aircraft into the sky and launching a record number of kamikaze drones.
