No shortage of diesel fuel and it is not expected - Kuiun

Director of the A-95 Consulting Group Serhii Kuiun said that there is no shortage of diesel fuel on the Ukrainian market and it is not expected to be.

He said this on his Facebook page, according to the Ukrainian News agency.

"With reference to the A-95 Consulting Group, they are talking about the alleged shortage of diesel fuel, which is supposedly sufficient until the end of March," Kuiun wrote.

The expert says that these publications are the result of a misunderstanding of the content of professional reviews of the market situation.

Kuiun added that during March, supply volumes are at the level of 2025, and there are even expectations of forming a certain stock for April.

Contracting for April is ongoing, with an average of 40% already reserved.

He noted that the misinterpretation of the material on Enkorr, which became a source of information about the alleged shortage, is due to the fact that suppliers confirm the remaining volumes, but the question of price remains.

That is, this fuel will be purchased, but the price is not yet known.

"Once again. There is no shortage and it is not expected. Moreover, for some reason there are no queues for diesel at UAH 85," Kuiun added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, yesterday Reuters reported with reference to the analytical company Enkorr, that Ukraine's diesel market is supplied until the end of March, but supplies for April remain uncertain amid rising prices.

On Monday, March 23, retail prices at Ukrainian gas stations continued to rise, but diesel fuel rose the most by UAH 2.97 to UAH 84.22 per liter.
