Putin calls Khamenei "outstanding figure" and expresses condolences to Iran

Russian president vladimir putin in his address to Iranian President Massoud Peseshkian condemned the assassination of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei after the joint US-Israeli attack on Iran and called him an "outstanding statesman."

It was reported by the russian propaganda agency TASS.

In the text of his address, putin conveyed his "deepest condolences" to Khamenei's family, leadership and citizens of Iran. He said that he regards the death of the supreme leader as "a cynical violation of human morality and international law."

The statement also noted that in russia, Ayatollah Khamenei "will be remembered as an outstanding statesman" who, according to putin, contributed to the development of russian-Iranian relations and bringing them to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

What is known about the US operation against Iran?

After that, Trump issued an extremely tough warning to Tehran, threatening to strike with unprecedented force in case of further escalation and implementation of new attacks. He announced this in a post on Truth Social.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has released a comment on the operation against the Iranian regime, confirming Kyiv's unwavering position on supporting the Iranian people and their right to live in security, freedom and prosperity.
