Explosions heard in Cheboksary: factory producing components for missiles and drones attacked

A series of explosions were heard in Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvashia, this morning. According to local residents, a factory that produces components for russian missiles, drones and guided bombs could have been hit.

According to russian media and local publications, this is the VNDIR-Progress enterprise. Eyewitnesses are writing about a possible hit on its territory. This factory produces products for the needs of the russian army, in particular elements for missile weapons, drones and guided aerial bombs.

At the same time, social networks note that smoke is rising approximately 800-900 meters from the territory of the factory. So there is currently no confirmation that VNDIR-Progress was the direct target of the attack.

Governor of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolayev confirmed the fact of the drone attack on Cheboksary, but did not report a possible hit on the factory.
