In Kherson Region, occupiers turned off heating in schools - NRC
In the first school of the temporarily occupied Skadovsk, Kherson Region, parents are being asked to pay for diesel fuel so that children can attend classes offline.
The National Resistance Center (NRC) announced this on its official page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that this is stated in a message that the school administration sent to parents in chat rooms.
In particular, it says that due to problems with the power supply, the school was heated using a diesel generator for several weeks.
According to the administration, the director and the manciple bought fuel for it at their own expense, but these resources have "run out", now parents are being asked to switch to diesel fuel.
According to information from the occupied Kherson Region, the decision to shift the costs of heating schools to parents was not made at the level of educational institutions.
The directors were given a clear instruction: not to stop in-person education under any circumstances and at the same time not to demand additional funding from the "administration".
As a result, the schools were left alone with the problem, and the only available resource to cover the costs was the students' parents.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the temporarily occupied Kherson Region, the invaders are blocking Ukrainian television.
