January turns out to be worst in terms of number of new buses sold over past 10 years - UkrAutoprom

In January 2026, sales of buses and minibuses decreased by 2% to 229 units compared to January 2025.

This is said in a statement by the UkrAutoprom association, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The report says that the share of new equipment in this volume was 48%, last year it was 64%

In terms of the number of new buses sold (109 units), this was the worst January figure for the last 10 years.

At the same time, the January replenishment of the fleet with used buses (120 units) was a record since 2014.

Most often in January, the following were registered for the first time:

in terms of new buses: ZAZ - 25 units; Ataman - 20 units and Bogdan - 17 units;

among the used ones: Mercedes-Benz - 45 units; VDL - 13 units and MAN - 9 units.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in 2025, sales of buses and minibuses increased by 21% to 2,707 units compared to 2024.
