Zelenskyy approves structure of Ukraine's defense plan
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the structure of Ukraine's defense plan. This is stated in Decree No. 96 of February 2, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The structure of Ukraine's defense plan was not published, it is attached for official use.
At the same time, Zelenskyy declared the decree No. 61 of March 3, 2020 "On the structure of Ukraine's defense plan" to be invalid.
The President instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure, with the participation of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the National Bank of Ukraine, the development of Ukraine's defense plan in accordance with the structure approved by this decree, and to submit it for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 14, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Mykhailo Fedorov to the position of Minister of Defense.
Zelenskyy expects the newly appointed Minister of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov, to close the deficits in defense financing and improve the financial support of soldiers on the front lines.
