Before russia's full-scale invasion, about 10 million young people lived in Ukraine, now about 7.6 million live here. Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna wrote about this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Before the full-scale invasion, about 10 million young people lived in Ukraine, and now - about 7.6 million. These are colossal losses," she said.

Berezhna noted that in recent years, Ukrainian youth have gone through extraordinary trials: war, losses, forced displacement, air raids, attacks, and difficult education, but they show responsibility, strength, and leadership like no other.

According to her, the government's task is to create decent conditions for young people to grow and realize themselves. The Minister emphasized that the safety of Ukrainian youth should be a common priority for the whole world.
