On the night of Tuesday, January 27, the military of the aggressor country russia massively attacked Odesa with attack drones. There were more than 10 hits and casualties. This is reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa Region.

As a result of the enemy attack, a two-story residential building was damaged, and an apartment on the 2nd floor of a two-story residential building was destroyed at another address. Apartments from the 2nd to the 4th floor of a 4-storey building were also destroyed. And a hit to a 9-storey building caused a fire on the 4th and 5th floors. A cultural and religious building was damaged. Glass in neighboring buildings was smashed in the places of hits. Cars were damaged.

Firefighters rescued 14 people, including 3 children.

Inhabitants of the damaged apartments were evacuated to the Points of Invincibility.

According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, 22 people were injured, including 14 with light injuries, who were treated on the spot.

"Psychologists of the State Emergency Service and the National Police are working on the ground. Heating stations have been set up by local authorities. More than 160 rescuers have been engaged to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks," the SESU said.

Preliminarily, 3 people may be under the rubble. Emergency rescue operations are underway. A dog training service is involved. The information is being updated.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, another russian attack in Odesa has damaged the building of the astronomical observatory, located in Taras Shevchenko Park.
