The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) warns of restrictions on charging powerful EcoFlow stations at SESU Points of Invincibility. The SESU announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"Our points are working so that everyone can stay warm, call their families or recharge their gadgets. Since the generators have a limited lifespan, certain rules apply. Priority No. 1 is phones, power banks and flashlights. We strive to help as many people as possible at the same time," the statement said.

The State Emergency Service notes that charging of powerful EcoFlow stations depends on the technical capabilities of the generator or other backup power sources at a particular point, the decision to connect powerful devices is made by the responsible person on the spot.

"Why are there restrictions? A large station (with an approximate capacity of 1-1.2 kW or more) can cause an overload of power generating equipment, which will leave everyone without the opportunity to charge gadgets," the service explains.

The State Emergency Service notes that there is currently no separate law or regulation that would clearly limit the power of devices in watts, so it all depends on the power of the equipment at a particular point - the duty officers assess the situation on the spot so that everyone has enough energy.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, emergency power outages continue to operate in Kyiv.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal said that the power industry has developed a number of technical solutions that will allow Kyiv to switch to predictable power outage schedules.
