SSU's Alpha destroyed russian air defense worth USD 4 billion
Long-range strikes by special forces of the "Alpha" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) are causing significant losses to key elements of the echeloned air defense system of the russian federation. The total cost of the enemy's air defense assets destroyed and disabled over the past year is estimated at approximately USD 4 billion.
This was reported to the Ukrainian News Agency by the SSU.
In particular, the destruction of:
▪️ S-300/ S-350/ S-400 systems
▪️ Buk-M1/ M2 anti-aircraft missile systems
▪️ Pantsir-S1/ S2 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems
▪️ Tor-M1/ M2/ M3 anti-aircraft missile systems
In addition, russian radar reconnaissance and guidance equipment suffered serious losses. Among those affected are radar stations and radars that are critically important for detecting air targets and air defense operations:
▪️ 55Zh6U Nebo-U/Nebo-M radar
▪️ Podlyot radar
▪️ Niobium radar
▪️ Kasta-2E2 radar
▪️ Gamma-D radar
▪️ Protivnik-GE radar
▪️ radars from the Buk, S-300/ S-400 air defense systems
▪️ 92N6 radar and others
This work had a systemic effect: corridors were broken through in the russian federation's multilayered air defense and safe passages were provided for Ukrainian long-range drones deep behind enemy lines - through military bases, warehouses, airfields and other military facilities.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, during a night special operation in Crimea, the SSU destroyed a MiG-31 fighter jet with full ammunition. The SSU struck russian equipment worth hundreds of millions of dollars at the Belbek airfield.
