Power engineers managed to partially restore power supply in Brovary
After a long power outage, which in some neighborhoods of the community reached 12–17 hours, power engineers managed to partially stabilize the system. This was reported by the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, in his Telegram channel.
As of the afternoon of Sunday, January 18, some of the power substations had already been put into operation. Despite the restoration of power, the situation remains difficult.
"Power engineers managed to partially restore power to the city, several substations are already in operation," he noted.
The mayor warned residents that the voltage in the network is currently very low.
Currently, specialists are continuing repair work to fully restore power supply to all houses in the community and equalize the technical indicators of the network.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a selector on the energy situation.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy commented on the situation with electricity in the regions and named the most difficult areas.
On January 16, Shmyhal said that due to the large-scale strikes by the aggressor country of russia, not a single power plant remained intact in Ukraine.
Recall, on January 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that an emergency regime would be introduced in the energy sector of Ukraine.
