Tusk reminds Trump that it was russia that rejected peace plan
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stressed that it was russia that rejected the peace plan proposed by the United States, and not vice versa, against the backdrop of President Donald Trump's statement.
He wrote about this on the social network X.
"It is russia who rejected the peace plan prepared by the US, not President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The only russian response were further missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. This is why the only solution is to strengthen pressure on russia. And you all know it," the message says.
Recall, Trump said that it was Ukraine, not russia, that was delaying the conclusion of a potential peace agreement. According to him, Ukraine is less ready to conclude an agreement.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Trump previously said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy still has no trump cards, recalling his words during a fight in the Oval Office. According to him, the only thing Zelenskyy has is Donald Trump.
