There are no gas cutoffs in Ukraine and no plans to cut off gas supply - Naftogaz
There are no restrictions on gas supply in Ukraine and no plans to do so. The information about the alleged use of gas cut-off schedules in the Khmelnytskyi Region is not true. This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the Naftogaz of Ukraine Group on Wednesday, January 14.
Naftogaz noted that some Telegram channels had spread false statements about the alleged introduction of gas supply cut-off schedules in the Khmelnytskyi Region.
"Telegram channels are spreading false information about the alleged introduction of gas supply restriction schedules in the Khmelnytskyi Region. We officially inform you that there are no restrictions - neither in the Khmelnytskyi Region nor in any other region of Ukraine - and there are no plans to introduce them," the statement reads.
Despite the constant hostile shelling of the infrastructure, gas supplies to consumers are being carried out in full, Naftogaz emphasized and called such fakes a "targeted discrediting campaign." Ukrainians were urged to trust only official sources of information and not to spread fakes and manipulations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 26, 2025, an unscheduled gas supply interruption occurred in Lanivtsi, Ternopil Region, due to a technical malfunction at a gas distribution infrastructure facility.
On December 9, a number of settlements in the Kharkiv Region were left without gas due to the russian attack.
On December 1-2, the aggressor country russia once again attacked the gas infrastructure.
