NABU searches in Batkivshchyna concern Yulia Tymoshenko - MP Honcharenko

Member of Parliament Oleksii Honcharenko said that the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, became a subject of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) investigation: according to him, it was she who was exposed in an attempt to bribe her colleagues in parliament.

He announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to Honcharenko, Tymoshenko allegedly negotiated with several MPs about their transition or informal affiliation to the Batkivshchyna faction for a monetary reward.

"That's Yulia Tymoshenko. She negotiated with several MPs about their transition or informal affiliation to the Batkivshchyna faction for money. One of the MPs recorded and transferred the materials to NABU," the MP reported.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, NABU and SAPO officially reported the exposure of the head of one of the factions of the Verkhovna Rada (without mentioning his last name), who offered illegal benefits to MPs from other political forces for the "necessary" results of voting on bills.

Currently, searches are being conducted at the party's office to collect evidence. Ukrainian Pravda reported that searches are ongoing at the Batkivshchyna office.
