Svyrydenko said that she had heard reports from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Development on the consequences of the night's massive shelling and bad weather, and coordinated the actions of all services.
The Prime Minister said that for almost five hours russia had been bombarding residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in Kyiv and other cities, using more than 240 drones and 36 missiles, with 4 killed and 25 wounded in the capital.
She said that in Kyiv, in some areas, there are interruptions in electricity and water supply due to damage to substations, lines and generation facilities, work is underway to power more than 500,000 consumers, emergency and hourly blackouts are being forced, the duration of which is also affected by the drop in temperature.
The Prime Minister also said that Slavutych was de-energized due to the attacks, and power engineers are already restoring power to about 3 thousand subscribers in the Chernihiv Region.
At the same time, power outages are reported in some settlements in most regions due to the bad weather, and emergency crews are working to restore power supply.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that on the night of Friday, January 9, russian troops attacked Kyiv with the use of drones, drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, which caused damage and destruction in various parts of the city, damaged critical infrastructure facilities, and interrupted electricity and water supply in a number of districts of the capital.
