Zelenskyy introduces President's Office head Budanov to NSDC

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has introduced the new head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov, to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC).

This is stated in the Presidential Decree No. 20/2026, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"To introduce Kyrylo Oleksiyovych Budanov, the head of the President's Office, to the personal staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine; to remove O. Ivashchenko from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the decree states.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Andrii Yermak was resigning from the post of head of the President's Office.

Shortly before that, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced searches of Yermak's premises.

On January 2, Zelenskyy proposed Budanov to head the President's Office.
