Zelenskyy met with ex-Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba amid personnel appointments
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a working meeting with former Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
He reported this on his page on social networks.
"We discussed the situation around Ukraine - both political and informational. It is important that the Ukrainian view of things in the world is presented and that it is strong enough. I am glad that Dmytro is on the Ukrainian team, and we agreed to determine the directions of further interaction," the President wrote.
Who is Dmytro Kuleba
Dmytro Kuleba headed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine from March 2020 to the end of 2024, when he resigned during a large-scale government reset. After that, it became known that he would join the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University in the USA as a senior research fellow.
What is known about the personnel reshuffle in the government and the Office of the President
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Kyrylo Budanov to the position of head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. He also signed a decree appointing Oleh Ivashchenko as head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Zelenskyy also expects the parliament to approve the candidacy of Denys Shmyhal for the position of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.
At the same time, the head of the SWU, Vasyl Maliuk, resigned. At the same time, he promised to remain in the department.
