Power outage schedules for December 24. When and for how long will lights be turned off today

On Wednesday, December 24, schedules of hourly power outages for household consumers and schedules of power restrictions for industry will be applied in all regions of Ukraine. It was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

The energy company explained that the reason for the restrictions is the consequences of russian missile and drone attacks on energy infrastructure facilities. "The reason for the introduction of restrictive measures is the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities," the statement said.

Ukrenergo emphasized that the situation in the power system may change. "The time and scope of blackouts at your address can be found on the official pages of the regional power distribution companies in your region," the power company noted.

The company also called on Ukrainians to conserve electricity. "When electricity is supplied according to the schedule, please consume it economically!" Ukrenergo emphasized.

As a reminder, the government has instructed all responsible authorities to ensure unconditional implementation of the decision to redirect up to 1 GW of the released energy resource, obtained as a result of revising the list of critical infrastructure facilities, for the needs of the population by December 24.
