This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The enemy does not stop strikes on the Odesa Region. Russia is trying to destroy maritime logistics, launching systematic attacks on port and energy infrastructure. Ports and energy facilities are under fire again tonight," he said.

Kuleba said that a fire broke out in the port Pivdenny as a result of the strike - about 30 containers with flour and vegetable oil caught fire, port workers and all relevant services are working on site, the elimination of the consequences is ongoing.

Due to damage to the energy infrastructure, more than 120,000 consumers in the Odesa Region are left without electricity, emergency crews are carrying out restoration work, critical infrastructure facilities are connected to alternative power sources.

According to Kuleba, the region is provided with heat and water supply.

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported on the Telegram channel that at night the enemy once again attacked the energy and industrial infrastructure of the Odesa Region, there is damage to an energy facility with subsequent fire, one person was injured. A warehouse with fertilizers and agricultural machinery was also damaged, the fires were extinguished by rescuers.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 20, Kuleba also reported that as a result of the morning attack on the port Pivdenny in the Odesa Region, tanks were damaged.
