Odesa Region resumes traffic on Odesa-Reni highway after russian strikes
In the Odesa Region, restrictions on vehicular traffic on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway, which was temporarily blocked due to russian strikes, have been lifted.
Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksii Biloshytskyi reported this on Sunday, December 21.
"Restrictions on traffic in both directions on the M-15 Odesa-Reni highway (to Bucharest) within the settlement of Maiaky have been lifted," he said.
The highway was blocked after russia attacked a bridge in the Odesa Region on December 19. As a result, the State Border Guard Service suspended traffic on the Odesa-Reni highway near the village of Maiaky.
On December 20, Kiper added that repairs to the bridge over the Dniester, damaged during the russian attack, would improve traffic over the next 48 hours.
Due to significant logistical complications caused by russian attacks, the rules of operation of checkpoints in the south of the Odesa Region are changed.
