Management change expected at Ukraine's largest oil and gas company - media

On December 16, the supervisory board of PJSC Ukrnafta terminated the powers of the company's interim chairman of the board, Yurii Tkachuk.

This was reported by Economic Pravda with reference to its own sources, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the publication, the largest oil company in Ukraine, Ukrnafta, will be headed by Bohdan Kukura, who was previously the company's deputy director general.

Before joining Naftogaz, Kukura held management positions in the three largest private extractive companies in Ukraine: DTEK Naftogaz, Ukrnaftoburinnia and Smart Energy.

Naftogaz also plans to dismiss Serhii Lahno, interim chairman of Ukrgazvydobuvannya, and appoint Yurii Tkachuk in his place.

Yurii Tkachuk has over 25 years of experience in large companies in the energy and industrial sectors of Ukraine.

In particular, he worked as a business partner for economics and finance of the Technical Support Division of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the Financial Director of the Industrial Division of the Energy Standard Group, and the Financial Director of Zaporizhtransformator PJSC.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Yurii Tkachuk headed PJSC Ukrnafta in May 2025, and Serhii Lahno headed Ukrgazvydobuvannya in June 2024.
