Customs officers stopped an attempt to illegally move branded goods.
This is stated in a message from Lviv Customs, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
On December 14, at the Shehyni-Medyka checkpoint, during a customs inspection of a Mercedes-Benz minibus driven by a 34-year-old native of the Ternopil Region, customs officers and border guards discovered undeclared branded items.
In particular, the driver was moving a Cartier ring, jewelry, a tea set and Hermes shoes, Tom Ford and BVlgari perfumes, as well as a Louis Vuitton bag.
The approximate value of the seized goods is UAH 450,000.
An administrative protocol was drawn up in accordance with Part 2 of Article 471 of the Civil Code of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier, customs officers stopped an attempt to illegally move cash worth over UAH 1.8 million.
