"He spends about 30,000 soldiers' lives at the front every month. Not wounded, 30,000 killed every month. There was a month when 25,000 russians were killed. Another month - 31,000. We have video from drones confirming these deaths," Zelenskyy said.

The President noted that russians do not count the lives of their people, but they count every dollar or euro they spend. Therefore, strong decisions on russian money are needed.

"And these funds must work to protect against Russia. I urge you to support this," the Head of State added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 12, the head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, said that the European Union has simplified the freezing of russian assets. A new procedure was approved that allows for long-term freezing of assets by a majority vote, rather than unanimously.

On December 9, the Group of Seven countries issued a joint statement announcing that they are considering the possibility of confiscating all frozen assets of the russian federation to support Ukraine.

However, not all of Ukraine's partner countries are ready for this. As the Financial Times reported, the largest banks in the UK opposed the use of frozen sovereign assets of the russian federation.
