From now on, military registration documents are created exclusively in electronic format - Defense Ministry

The government has updated the procedure for issuing military registration documents, from now on they are created exclusively in electronic format. The Ministry of Defense announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Thus, the Reserve ID becomes the main form of a military registration document for conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists. You can get it directly in the Reserve+ application," the message says.

For citizens who do not always have the opportunity to use an electronic document, a paper version is available. You can:

print it yourself by downloading the PDF in Reserve+ or on the Diia portal.

obtain it from the territorial recruitment and social support center, where the document will be created in electronic form and a printout will be provided.

"The transition to an electronic format minimizes the risks of loss, damage or forgery of the document," said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization Oksana Ferchuk.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the introduced changes are part of the process of developing a modern and transparent military accounting system that meets the needs of the defense sector and contributes to increasing the efficiency of defense processes in Ukraine.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in December, the Reserve+ application was updated, from now on the electronic document will automatically display the owner's photo.

In December, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed critical enterprises of the defense-industrial complex to reserve employees, whose military registration documents are improperly issued, for 45 days.
