Ukraine and Europe have many cards in negotiations - Macron

Ukraine and Europe have a large number of arguments and means of influencing the aggressor country of russia. Now it remains only to bring the common positions with the United States of America closer together.

According to European Pravda, the corresponding statement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron.

"We all support Ukraine, we all support peace and peace negotiations in order to achieve a stable, reliable peace. And I think that we have many cards in our hands," Macron said.

He added that the russian economy is beginning to suffer, especially after the latest sanctions imposed by Europe and the United States.

The French President believes that the main issue now is the convergence of the common positions of Ukraine, Europe and the United States on the completion of negotiations to end the russian-Ukrainian war.

Macron's statement was made before a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in London.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier today, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov said that he had received detailed information from the United States about the meeting of the American delegation with the russians in Moscow. He is preparing to immediately report the details to Zelenskyy.

As a reminder, on December 4, the Spiegel publication wrote that European leaders warned Zelenskyy that US President Donald Trump could betray the interests of Ukraine and Europe during negotiations with Russia.
