Zelenskyy: decision on new head of President's Office will be made soon
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would soon make a decision on the appointment of a new head of the Office. The head of state stated this in his evening video address on Thursday, December 4.
Today, Zelenskyy met with candidates for the position of the new head of the President's Office. According to him, the main topic was the format of the Office's work.
"Also today, I held additional meetings with candidates for the post of the new head of the President's Office - we discussed the formats of the Office's work, interaction with other state institutions, which is necessary for the interests of Ukraine. A decision on the new head of the Office will be made soon," Zelenskyy emphasized.
In addition, on Friday, December 5, a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff will be held, among the issues to be discussed is the new distribution of personnel among the units, which is being discussed in each combat brigade.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on December 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he currently does not plan to announce a candidate for the post of the new head of the President's Office.
Also, on December 1, Mykhailo Podoliak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that the resignation of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine is a manifestation of a living democracy even under certain restrictions imposed by the war.
On November 28, Andrii Yermak wrote a letter of resignation from the post of the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
