All restrictions removed from Kobolev
A judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court refused to extend the term of certain restrictions to the former chairman of the board of the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company Andrii Kobolev in the case regarding the receipt of bonuses.
This is evidenced by the data of the court registry, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) asked the High Anti-Corruption Court to extend Kobolev's procedural duties, but the court refused.
"To refuse to satisfy the motion of the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to extend the term of the duties imposed on the accused Kobolev," the court ruling states.
Earlier, by a court decision, he was extended the term of the duties imposed on him, namely: to notify the court of a change of residence; to refrain from communicating with witnesses.
The term of restrictions expires on December 7.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the bail of the former chairman of the board of Naftogaz Andrii Kobolev was reduced from UAH 107 million to UAH 80 million and part of the bail of Concord was returned. Kobolev, who is accused of illegally receiving USD 10 million in bonuses, traveled abroad during the war to prepare his stepson for exams at a college in the UK. Kobolev's friends demanded the return of more than UAH 35 million, which they paid as bail for him. The High Anti-Corruption Court reduced the bail of the former chairman of the board of Naftogaz Andrii Kobolev from UAH 229 million to UAH 107 million.
