19 trolleybuses damaged in Kherson due to night shelling by occupiers
At night, russian troops shelled the territory of the trolleybus depot in Kherson for about an hour and a half with artillery. This was reported by the head of the Kherson City Military Administration Yaroslav Shanko on Telegram.
As a result of enemy shelling, the depot was significantly damaged: the contact network, production and administrative premises were destroyed. The rolling stock suffered the most - 19 trolleybuses have damaged bodies and broken windows. Fortunately, there were no injuries among the employees of the utility company.
Currently, experts are assessing the extent of the damage. Due to the shelling, electric transport is temporarily out of service, so residents were urged to take this into account when planning their travel around the city.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, about 200 residents of the Kherson Korabel neighbourhood are still living without electricity and gas, since critical infrastructure cannot be restored.
In Kherson, the facts of the scattering of anti-personnel mines "petals" (PFM-1) by russian forces are again being recorded.
