Polish President Karol Nawrocki canceled a planned meeting with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán immediately after the latter visited russian dictator vladimir putin. The head of the International Policy Bureau of the Chancellery of the President of Poland, Marcin Przydacz, has announced this in Chisinau.

President Nawrocki was scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Hungary, which began on December 3 with a summit of Visegrad Group leaders. However, the official part of the visit to Budapest, scheduled for December 4, which included a meeting with Prime Minister Orbán, was canceled.

"Referring in his policy to the legacy of President Lech Kaczyński, who emphasized that Europe's security depends on solidarity, also in the field of energy, in connection with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's visit to moscow and its context, President Nawrocki decided to limit the program of his visit to Hungary exclusively to the Visegrád Group presidential summit in Esztergom," Przydacz said.

During the Visegrád Summit, President Nawrocki will discuss key security issues and strengthening cooperation in Central Europe with his counterparts from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
